We invite you to the concert FEMART – Festival MusicAntica e Arte

“The Murmuring Wave – Tartini and the Late Slovenian Baroque”

Join us on October 26th, 2025, at 6:00 PM in our Renaissance villa, Vila Vipolže, for a concert dedicated to Gorizia and its Slovenian hinterland, in the year when the city proudly holds the title of European Capital of Culture.

The program features rarely performed works by Baroque composers from Gorizia, alongside pieces by Slovenian authors.

This concert unveils lesser-known layers of Gorizia’s musical heritage, placing them in dialogue with European traditions. The repertoire links Gorizia with Piran, the birthplace of the Baroque composer Giuseppe Tartini, whose music at times resonates with folk-inspired Balkan motifs.
